Whether you’re an undergraduate, a prospective graduate student or a postdoc – we are always willing to discuss the possibility of having you on our team! We embrace individuals from diverse backgrounds along with their experiences and ideas.
We are currently accepting graduate students through the: Microbiology Doctoral Training Program, Department of Bacteriology (M.S.) , Program of Environmental Chemistry and Technology (M.S. and PhD), and Molecular and Environmental Toxicology (PhD). For all the programs, perspective students should apply to the program. MDTP & MET students participate in rotations after arrival to UW-Madison to select mentors. Bact M.S. and EC&T M.S. and PhD programs are direct admission to the lab once your application is approved by the program. If you are applying to Bacteriology or EC&T, it is strongly advised that you contact Dr. Majumder before submitting your application. If you are interested, contact Dr. Majumder with your CV/Resume and one paragraph about why you would like to work in our lab.
We currently do not have openings for researchers and lab support (full for spring 2023). If you are interested in summer or Fall 2023, please contact Dr. Majumder with your CV/Resume and one paragraph about why you would like to work in our lab.
We do not currently have any openings for a funded postdoctoral position. If you are interested in working with us or applying for fellowships to work with us, please email Dr. Majumder with a short paragraph explaining your interest in our work, expected availability date and a CV.
